Remember those sketches of Hound and Ogrokh? (Specifically, these ones: [link] ) Well, here's why I drew them - I wanted some model sheets for the picture above, which was created as a prezzie for top chap EHKiba [link] and features the afore-mentioned characters engaged in a friendly (well, more sort of "bitey", really) wrestling bout. It's not often that anyone gets the better of Ogrokh in a scrap, but Hound is obviously more than a match for the big green lug. Let's face it, anybody who's willing to bring their nose that close to an orc's unbooted foot (let alone sink their teeth into it) has got to be made of pretty tough stuff.

For those interested in the technical side of things, this illo was constructed from two separate elements. I drew and inked the characters and the lettering first, then I did the background on a different sheet of paper with an HB pencil (making use of a lightbox to put the shading in the right places), and finally I combined everything in Photoshop. And for those who aren't interested in the technical side of things at all, you probably shouldn't have bothered reading that last bit.

Hound is, of course, the copyrighted creation of EHKiba. Anybody who infringes said copyright will have their head piledrivered through the nearest available announcer's table.
