I can’t say too much about this little guy, because he’s an important character from an Apeman and Monkeyboy adventure that hasn’t yet been published. All I can tell you is that his full name is Buggsy J McNutts, and he’s not your average cartoon squirrel. As is perhaps obvious, he doesn’t do “cute”.

This is a design sketch that I drew to finalise the look of the character, and I remain jolly proud of him. Casting against type is fun.

Looks like a rough and tumble little bugger. (Sorry about the double post btw.) Like he would be someone out of a Rescue Rangers episode. Nice little scar on his cheek and of course what would a cartoony character be without the "no pants" gimmick. :D

He's got a mean bite on him (a fact that Monkeyboy learns a little too late), and he's surprisingly adept at the use of firearms...
